A wine rich in aromas and fragrances that only “heroic” vineyards can offer.

At about a thousand meters above sea level, where the uncontaminated nature of the Madonie mountains reigns supreme, a Syrah with extraordinary minerality and unique hints of the sea and the mountains of Sicily is born.

Legend has it that Syrah vine cuttings arrived in these parts from distant Persia (now Iran) with pilgrims passing through the Sicilian hinterland in the Middle Ages on their way to Santiago de Compostela in Spain to venerate their patron saint, Saint James (Jaime in Spanish). It seems they left them as gifts to the locals in gratitude for their generous hospitality.

Since then, for generations, local farmers have cultivated this grape variety with passion and hard work, so much so that it is considered indigenous.

Aged in second-passage barriques and then aged for a few months in the bottle. Ruby red in color. On the nose, red fruits and toasted almonds. On the palate, full-bodied, warm, and rounded .
